Black Bird on the Cross

This is the Santa Maria de la paz Catholic church in my neighborhood.

As I've been mountain biking past it for months, I have seen the light on the church many times--looking for the best picture I can get. Then, today, there's a big black bird on the top of the cross.

It's serendipitous, I believe. Perhaps, the bird was meant to be there for my picture?
