Fungus

A mixed day weather wise. Varying from blue skies and sunshine to a grey is afternoon with a bitterly cold wind.

It was back to the winter woollies this afternoon when I did a few hours "work" in the garden and chicken field.

I spent two hours attempting to remove the countless weeds that have suddenly appeared. There were lots of dandelion leaves so the chickies and geese were happy with their extra rations. My blip is of the discarded log that had fungi attached to it.

The other day I commented that I had not seen many daffodils on the grass verges. This week I stand corrected - it would seem that every road I drove along had verges covered in daffodils. A very pretty and colourful spring like sight.
