Mandarin strut

There are a couple of breeding pairs of mandarin ducks at the ford in the river, down by the Horn Lane footbridge in Linton. Not sure how long they've been around, but this was the first time I'd seen them, out on our short walk this afternoon.

This guy seems to have an admirer.

Clay club went well today. Everything came out of the kiln in one piece, and progress was made in a number of areas by quite a few students. I'm liking Ellie's adventurous spirit using glazes.
