Nuthatch nourishment

The birds are busy feeding in the cold today. It's going to take a while to melt the foot of snow on the ground, even with the bright sun. The polar vortex is going to keep us very chilly this week, so I suspect we'll be surrounded by white for a bit. There's and icy crust on the snow helping the birds, squirrels and our trio of turkeys traverse the white stuff.

This day came in sunny but very cold.
