European Indoor Athletics

SparseRunner had tickets for each of the three nights of the championship. I accompanied him on just the Saturday evening. It is not my scene at all but I found it interesting and it is easy to get caught in the atmosphere and cheer the athletes. We were closest to the pole vaults, which I had never really seen before and found compelling.
This is the best of a bad bunch of photos. I think that the guy in the photo ended up with the gold medal.
