Table runner

I finally finished my table runner!! It takes probably about a year or so to finish, though I only work on it at night or when we go to my siblings house for holidays.
The style is called Fillet Crochet and was originally created by a man in the 1800's. Just in case any on the guys think" I could do that", Knitting was originally done by men, shepherds in particular!!
The Seattle weather has been drippy and cool. We were supposed to have sun breaks, but have not seen any in at least a week or so. OH, well. At least when the sun does come out we enjoy it more.
