Meerkat

For some reason this little stretch of our road has been certified as a Wildlife Habitat, and the former owner left a resin meerkat to stand guard.
It seems a little odd since there are hunters on the other side of the soy bean field.

The afternoon sun was easy to work with, even on this heavily shaded portion of the road.
