A much needed lazy start, a certain Puppy is still waking us just that little bit too early.... 

Then some promised document review and policy writing (too much of this in the coming weeks) repaying some favours, giving thanks and being a better me.

Eventually with a whirring head I wandered up onto the fell with Missy - patchy snow on the Pennine tops, but non for us, just the bracing wind. It was grand. A long linger at the high fell gate, this view never fails to hold me as the light plays on the subtle ancient drama of these time worn hills. 
We sat a goodly while, just a man and his dog, at peace in their place.
