Not a bad view!

Getting up at the crack of dawn was well worth it. We have swapped the gales and bitter hailstones of Edinburgh for the sunshine of Madeira! 20°C when we landed and it is lovely.

The hotel is set in gardens and it's amazing to see all these things that we know as house plants, growing outside as shrubs! As well as exploring the gardens, we've checked out where the heated pool and sauna are and had a free welcoming glass of Madeira!
