All By Myself....
....don't wanna be, all by myself, anymore.
Mr. Patrick Cudahy, standing watch over his city and his park, from the end of the Boulevard that bears his name. Although this area was settled by 1895, Mr. Cudahy purchased the land for development in 1906 & opened his meat packing business here. (if you've ever bought Patrick Cudahy bacon or meats, this is where they're made). Being a forward thinker, he also preserved the lakefront land for use as "Sheridan Park".
Having had, from all accounts, an outgoing personality, it must be hard to have to stand in the same spot, day after day, with no one to CONVERSE with!
I took this on my way home from the walk-in clinic. I barely slept last night for the coughing, head pressure and itchy, watery eyes, so went to the clinic when it opened this morning. Sinus infection and bilateral eye infections, so now am started on a Z-pack (antibiotics) & eye drops, so hopefully in another day or two I'll be feeling better. :)) Thanks to Apollofly for taking over MonoMondays for March. (It IS March, right? Wouldn't know it by the temperature! It was -2 degrees (F) (-18.8 C) when I walked out of the house this morning, but at least the sun's out!) :))
