Summer In February - Day 3

These warm summer-like days are just amazing!! I know they probably won’t last but I’d be very happy to just slide into the real summer now! But I also remember that LAST March we had the ‘beast from the east’ with lots of heavy spring snow!

Today was much like yesterday - skiing in the morning and sitting in the garden in the sun in the afternoon. Once my garden was in the shade I hopped in the car and went on another of my favourite walks. This time I packed a flask of tea and finished the walk on this hill. And there I sat on my favourite log, mug of tea in hand and watched the show. Several dog-walkers came by and people are always amazed to see me with a mug of tea. I do wonder why more people don’t enjoy a little mini-picnic! Who says picnics are only for the real summer?
