Skyfall
Odd day weather-wise. Started off all sunshiny, chilly and blue skies, then the clouds sort of fell down out of the sky. Here is the world behind the school late morning after I'd finished being exasperated about why even the three British kids (two of whom I'm closely related to) couldn't sing a word in English. This vallon is looking about as beau as our prospects for adding to tomorrow's show in any way other than as a comedy turn.
The afternoon was a messy mix of children and chocolate. The kids at school are making our dinner at the show tomorrow night, so today was the petit fours - 150 chocolate cakes and 150 Florentines. I think washing up 10 chocolatey mixing bowls and a thousand spoons (twice) in the tiny basin in the teachers's room was the low point of the day, though washing a combination of dried chocolate, glue and the inevitable glitter off the tables may be vying for joint worst.
But Mr B, despite yet again being mucked about by a client, has made huge progress in making the Mad Broken House a bit more civilised. And later there was some home shopping and deliciously too much Breaking Bad on the telly.
