This time I was in Glasgow to see the action for the European Athletics Indoor Championship live! @Spareserunner had a spare ticket for the finals this evening so off we went (another thank you to blip).

What a brilliant time we had, never having been to anything like that before it was a complete assault on the senses with so much happening at once. Here you can see Laura Mair take the lead in the women’s 1500 from the get go. She actually won by over 4 seconds in the end - very impressive.

In other news, I ran a 10k this morning - the first 5km straight into the face of Freya - gosh that was hard work, but, it looks like the leg has mended.
