History
It has been a busy Sunday, starting with a haircut at 9am and ending in an airport hotel at 11pm
The main event was Junior’s team playing their last league game of the season, against local rivals St Andrews. It was a 20:30 face off in Edinburgh. They lost a game they should have won, but they had won their division last weekend anyway.
I have a flight from Edinburgh at 6:30 tomorrow, so it made no sense to get home at 11pm and then be up at 3am to retrace my steps.
They just opened two new airport hotels in January, so prices are still “keen”. I chose the Hampton. So far, so good. Breakfast is included but starts at 5am - just about when I expect to be joining the massive queue at Ryanair’s bag drop.
It is a long time since I flew with Ryanair. I think I made a “never again” decision after the last flight.
The Blip is the hotel - interesting war memorial in front of it.
