More wet and windy!

The soup maker arrived. I can highly recommend these things. I took advice from a couple of colleagues and bought the larger size, with clear jug and one that sautés too. Fabulous thing. I made leek and potato for today’s starter (Alf came and he loves soup), And enough left over for Mr L to have for lunch tomorrow. Then I made curried parsnip (parsnips 60p a bag because they were all wonky) which made enough for six smaller portions for us to have in the week. All this in a quarter of the time it usually takes, and hardly any clearing up afterward. Long live the soup maker.

Eventually got round to sending out the annual do invites through Facebook events even though it’s not until August!
