Emma and me on Luskentyre Beach

I met Emma originally on a photography workshop in Glencoe in January 2016, when we stayed in the King's House Hotel.

Emma lives in Callanish towards the north of Lewis. When she read on my Facebook timeline that I was flying to Stornoway today, she offered to meet me at the airport and drive me to the hotel in Tarbert as she thought it unlikely that I would get a taxi on the Sabbath.

I checked in and then we went on a tour of Harris. Here we are on Luskentyre Beach, probably the most well known one. A kind lady photographed us.

Was so grateful to Emma for coming. She has plans to provide rooms for itinerant photographers like me.
