Sad Indictment

Our route home after the rugby had to be a little different because part of the highway is closed as it’s unsafe. Repair work is underway but will only be done by October causing absolute chaos for commuters.

We went through parts of Joburg we haven’t been in years.

It’s sad that instead of there being investment from the government to make these places habitable the owners are left with no option but to strip everything, even the roof, to stop squatters.

It was probably a smart place to live in its heyday.
