The man who planted trees

A lovely bright morning, if a little breezy.
We went down to Aden to feed Jack the cat, then we joined about thirty other people to plant trees in the park.
A real mixture of people and over three hours, we planted about 900 young trees.
I was a little disappointed that the horse in the photo just walked past!!
If you haven’t seen “The Man Who Planted Trees” it is an animated film that lasts about thirty minutes and I think it is rather lovely. I’ve watched it a few times and I intend watching it again tonight. You can watch it here.
