Lost ...but not alone

I knew I'd got slightly lost on my way home from Claire's birthday lunch get together. There was no denying that I'd been along this lane already, because I'd blipped it 10 minutes ago! West Cork rural lanes have a bewildering sameness at night, which is only fueled by the frustrating lack of sign posts. Also Claire lives in some special reality time shifting zone i.e. in the middle of nowhere, along a series of maze lanes with weird shadows for company when you get out of the car, on your own, in the pitch black. I haven't once, day or night made it to her house without either getting lost or having to be reminded by Hubs on how to get there. Ah well, I did make it there and back, via somewhere else, but all was good in the end (mostly thanks to Google maps)!

Very low energy thing going on in the house tonight, we all look fine, say we're fine, have eaten a mighty fine dinner, but I think we all have our own 'stuff' going on.
It's just one of those passing moments.
