El Palo beach – view towards Malaga

It has been a lovely quiet day with K. and D. enjoying life with them near Malaga. I sat in warm sunshine watching birds flitting around the eucalyptus tree outside their apartment and looked down the valley towards the sea.

It has been very balmy with high thin clouds. We've nattered and drunk coffee, eaten lunch at home, made plans and then after a snooze wandered down to the beach.

It was great to back by the sea watching and hearing local people singing and partying together at the end of the day. We walked along the sand and enjoyed the sun setting behind the port area of Malaga. After a stroll we needed a drink in a bar beside the beach before wandering a little way inland to their apartment for an evening meal, with yummy local tortilla and olives. Perfect.
