Cara & the Kid

Started today with my fastest Parkrun time of the year which was funny as I ran the first 1km talking to my sister before cracking on....

After that I had some more DIY to do in the living room and make a pot of soup as Auntie L and Uncle C came to visit with Cara the dog. Granny and Grandad came to visit too.

We enjoyed said soup and went for a nice walk around the Murieston Trail.

In the evening I took L to an (ahem) family friendly wrestling event in the nearby Scout Hall.

It was ok for the best part of it but in the finale they came out the ring and started throwing each other into the seats knocking everything flying.

Poor L got a big fright and got upset. It was ok and as an adult you could see how staged it was but for a 9 year old it must have been scary.

She wants to go back in April. I think we’ll give it a miss.
