Gin & Tonic & Daffs, Aylesford

After Thursday's joy it was back to the coalface yesterday. Work has started to get busier and the "HighPriority" e-mails are beginning to fly round like confetti. The worst ones usually make themselves known just before I'm about to leave for the journey home. I'm quite strategic in deciding which ones to place on the back burner and which ones to hurry through. Basically, a few years ago I decided that work is work - 9 to 5 I will do my best to work hard and be as helpful as I can, after that it's my time to go home and forget about it.
During the week I discovered that one of the paintings I shot sold at auction for 27.5 million pounds! It's an unreal sum of money and you can't quite compute that something you held in your hands was worth a very large fortune.
Today's shot was taken in my lovely local pub - all the tables are now designated by gin bottles of various hues and flavours, now with added tonic water bottles filled with daffs! We had a couple of pints and some triple cooked chips and all was well with the world.
