Well I wasn't......

....expecting that.

The weather forecast for the weekend wasn't great but the best chance of missing the rain was first thing this morning. My old man and me decided to get out on the bikes early and it paid off. We set off and it was grey and pretty miserable but not raining, within a hour of riding the sun came out and it was a gorgeous morning.

A good three hours with a quick tea stop at the stables did my cold and cough wonders.

I got back and decided to do some jobs whilst I was sweaty. I bagged a load of garden waste (5 large sacks) and loaded them into the car with a sofa chair and took them to the tip. As it was still not raining I made another shelf for the man cave, I had spare brackets so all I needed to do was cut, plain and sand the wood. Job done and it looks great and I now have more shelf space to fill with vinyl ;)

A relaxing night in on my own as Claire is out with the girls having a bit of a birthday gathering. I'm just about to watch Free Solo which I've been keen to watch for weeks.
