My amaryllis has flowered.
The wind is whistling around outside, and we can hear it down
the chimney flue.
Hubby had a bout of food poisoning the past 48 hours. So we battened down the metaphorical hatches.
All the usual "trying to find out what he ate which I didn't" inquests went on, as he had a trip to London on Tuesday.
It was certainly nothing I had eaten, thankfully, so I was able to put him in quarantine, (he hates not being busy!) and he himself conceded defeat and went to bed early evening
yesterday completely exhausted.
Today he is much better and has had something to eat.
It is cosy now with the fire on in the hearth, the curtains drawn, whilst the incoming approaching Storm Freya winds herself up!
We'll see what she (Why are they feminine!) tomorrow brings along.
