We had a very busy church this morning.  There was a coffee morning for the 'Good Companions' and of course Margaret and I were doing our usual rolls and sausage.  It was very busy and we were all out of food by 11am.

However, there was also a big crowd in the sanctuary, as there was a Recycling Initiative going on, with a discussion circle in the corner, and some stalls.  And we were invited to bring along our electrical goods that we no longer needed or that were no longer working (but not large fridges, cookers and washing machines) which will be repaired if possible and recycled.  It was a big success, the HG got rid of some old computer stuff which was taking up room in one of our cupboards.

Storm Freya is making an appearance, nothing too much so far, but dull, wet and a bit windy.   And the wind is increasing as I type......
