View from the Control Tower.

This afternoon we spent some time with Peter and went to the now restored Control tower at Greenham Common.It is a fascinating place and was, for a long time home to a large US Airforce contingent and also several Cruise Missiles. If you look though the window between the two people, in the distance are some green bunkers, these are where the missiles were kept. The base also had a peace camp outside which was in place for 19 years!
