Village sign

We had a couple of chores to do this morning, and when out and about in the village I noticed how lovely the sign was looking in the sunshine with the daffodils growing under it. The sign is relatively new and was only erected in May 2017 and the image is of the water mill which is a symbol of the village. 

It has been a non eventful day, I have not been feeling too great with a slight sore throat. We have had 3 nights out in a row and I think it is taking it's toll. I would love to spend this evening curled up on the sofa watching TV but we are going out again tonight - one of Gavin's work colleagues is celebrating her 50th birthday tonight so it's a full dress up affair and I guess it will be a late night.

Now to relax with a hot cup of tea before I go get ready.
