We enjoyed a long lie in this morning, apart from Arthur,
 then after breakfast, Paul drove Maria and me into Blackburn where we shopped for a couple of hours.
It was drizzly overcast weather, so thankfully most of the shops we like to go to, are in The Mall. It is modern and well lit, very clean.
We went to M&S where I bought a little tub of jonquils and some dark chocolate almonds. We browsed in H&M and Primark. We spent a good while buying things from Holland and Barrett
Went to Habiknit in the market and Wilko to look at wool and knitting markers.
We are having a lovely time and catching up on episodes of The Sewing Bee.
