Blip-vent Calendar 13: Blipmeet

I received an invite for a blipmeet from Jillymint of Time Lapse. After a scenic detour of Shropshire(wrong turn at an island) I finally met up with Jill and Ken Petch at Jill's home. We've been able to spend some time in the bird hide and had lunch, Jill makes fantastic apple pie! Lovely to meet you both.
Great to put faces to names on blip, although my children did say it was breaking internet safety law, meeting strangers, and my son rang me after school to make sure I was on my way home. Probably all worried that Daddy might have to cook tea!

I don't think I've seen a goldfinch before, and probably won't be this close again.
