I, finally, gave myself a bit of a shake and started to weed. In truth I'm not sure I've looked at these borders since Alice.
I also noticed that these are the nearest to open of any Daffies. The curious thing is - the smaller ones are, as near as I can tell, the same as some next door; same size, same distance from the house, in the same amount of shade, and yet still in tight bud compared to next door in full flower.
