Here Be Dragons...

Here is my first contribution to the 'One Street' Theme started by Kendalishere.

This is my lane, this is the view that scares the take-away (take-out if your north of the border) drivers. They will not deliver this far along the lane, their sat - nafs say 'Here be dragons' as used to be writ large on ancient maps.

I can't really see the lane from my cottage, it is set back up the farm track, but this is my view in the mornings.

The contrast between the hoar frost in shaded woodland and the sunlight further down the lane was magical this morning, and I'm sure that's a dragon's tail amongst the branches of the oak tree on the left.

Perhaps I should add, this is in the Chiltern Hills in North West Hertfordshire
