She is old, but very alert. I am so deaf that I do not hear what makes her turn her head, but I trust that there's again something, a bird or some critter or a walker or a car being started...

I have been lousy company for Maija again. I have been reading, and what's worse, listening to an audio book - this time the fourth of those Robert Galbraith's Cormoran Strike novels, that you just can't put down until you have reached the end. :-)
