Contrasts

At the end of the day TSM and I sat down with Strider, he with his complete works of Shakespeare, TSM with a cat and and me with a whisky. Then I saw this picture just waiting to be taken.

Strider’s shadow looks a bit snobbish (he isn’t at all) and the effect is slightly Edgar Allan Poe.

Had a semi productive day in the office - found it difficult to focus at the end of a difficult week but caught up with colleagues and had some thoughtful conversations about the direction things are taking.

Did have a long chat with the GP about tests I need next week plus prescribing some pain relief, which was good. And we went for a light meal in a local Southern Indian restaurant after work which was excellent and a good way to start the weekend.

Been a week of contrasts but feeling better tonight.
