Caravaning

We chose the freedom camping spot at Hina Hina Bay which is beside the Owaka Yacht Club rooms.  They have seen better days but I am sure they have some stories to tell.

This spot is beside a huge estuary where I saw a elephant seal playing in the water.  Wish I had my fishing rod too - oh not for the elephant seal but I bet there are some fish here.

The extra is the lookout across the estuary.  A number of little yachts were on the shore.  I think a school group are coming later on to learn some new skills and they can be viewed from the top story of the lookout. 

Very peaceful - we were the only ones here.
