A grand day out.

Mr H and I decided we’d have a day out together, without Reggie, and treat our selves to lunch out somewhere. We decided on Hawes, one of our favourites for a weekend break with the caravan in the summer, and lunch in the restaurant at the Wensleydale Creamery. Sadly the weather is cooler and greyer than it has been, but we still had a lovely time.

Walking through Hawes we saw three policemen sat on a bench having a cup of coffee, and then I spotted the bikes in the car park just behind where they were sat. Just had to be blipped!

Also loved the chimney pots at the antique shop, and as ever I had to call in at West Burton falls on the way home, see extras.

The new slimline Mr H is also the final extra, photographed while waiting for our food. Obviously we have both changed our habits as neither of us could clear our plates, and we didn’t buy any cheese to bring home with us either - we did have a few sample tasters though.

All in all a grand day out!
