He's here again
Heard many times during the day his rattle from my home and spotted him many times on the chimney in my windowview ~ (s)he actually stands there right now again on one leg and I wonder where the spouse is.... I'd spotted one since coming home, always alone and don't know if they come in turns or its just one and the same I see.
Was stuck to the house as my boiler needed fixing; the first repairman my housing company had sent was a plumber and he didn't do boilers. Then after many phonecalls with all that waiting while they treated me on a silly music tune, another repairman came and he's done the job OK. From the many phonecalls made to the housingcompany I understood their concern is about who is to pay the bill?! They should as it's theirs. Silly they'd sacked their own servicemen over a decade ago and now contract all kinds of repairers and it's up to the administrators of the housing company to decide what repaircompany is suitable... they made mistakes today.
Do remember that in 2006 a carpenter came from Emmen, that's 230 kms away from my place and all he did was check what he needed to order... the other who came 2 weeks later to do the job, came from Groningen, what's 260 kms away. Today's man came from Rotterdam, that's 30 or 40 kms out of my street... I'm sure there are repairmen from closer by, but management prefers silly contracts, it seems.
