Children’s Carnival

I love this special morning in Funchal.

So many proud parents who have spent many hours creating their youngsters’ costumes. So many proud family members cheering on the little ones and their teachers as they parade and celebrate.

Peaceful. Happy. Exciting. Magical.

Children and parents are proud that their efforts are recognised and celebrated and photographs are welcomed with warmth. So refreshing to relax and smile with them.

I love the way the older brothers and sisters are so supportive.
