Woodpecker in a snowy tree

Does what it says on the tin!

Not the best blip but there weren't many opportunities today. It was a dull, cold, miserable snowy day. A day for the fire and some mulled wine....if I wasn't on a health kick!!!!!

I am however amazed that I managed to get the woodpecker in focus and not the tree...baby steps!

My knee is killing me and I'm not going to walk anymore today if I can help it....the ruts in the hard frosty ground when I walked Nellie were not easy on it......carry me please!!!
