Burning Bush

Today was the last workday of the year for the Woodland Volunteers of Osborne House. No bonfire blip this week but the roasted potatoes and chestnuts were as delicious as ever. We managed to clear the area we have been working in for some weeks so next year will see us in a different part of Swiss Woods.

The woodland lies between Queen Victoria's beach and the Swiss Cottage gardens. When I arrived the remaining leaves on the Acer tree to the side of Swiss Cottage seemed to be catching alight in the early morning sun.

I was undecided whether to blip this or the early sun in the Walled Garden which can be seen HERE
