I picked Sarah up from her shift st the RSPCA shop and found this for sale - how many of us grew up with sideboards like this? I certainly did, it was full of “the good glasses” and “the best china” - none of which ever saw the light of day! Usually they would have a brandy glass on top, perhaps with a little china cat climbing the side? Or maybe a spider plant, or if you were really posh, a yucca.

For £55 I am tempted.
