Bales .....

Another busy one today. Left 2 on mucking out a cattle court and headed off to UA mart at Stirling with 6 Angus heifers. Despite a couple of minor wobbles up the motorway got there in one piece.
They sold slightly better than last week’s limousins and averaged 499Kg.
Trailer washed out and back home by 1.30pm then started to lay out bales in the lambing field ready to get pens built . Hopefully will try and get some more out tomorrow if it’s still dry.
Minor excitement during the night when a bus from Innerleithen being chased by the police gave some of our fences a hit before crashing into a neighbours field. Never a dull moment round here.
