Scotland to Southend

Today I went to an event to mark the arrival of Scotland’s airline arriving at Southend (I get all the best jobs). It was like a summers day at the airport where the event was marked by the Essex Caledonian highland band. I didn’t get chance to ask what the connection is with Essex but it was obviously appropriate.
