Life in a Bubble

I spent a brief few minutes watching the bubbles of the cable car slip hypnotically over the horizon before getting stuck back into work. Lots done today, even if I did miss a fine lunch with exploding olive balls and foamy calamari.

In the Westminster bubble things, which have never been sublime, slipped from ridiculous, through risible, to incomprehensible. I may just go to sleep tonight and set my alarm for April.

When the troops returned, more craziness with Mr B’s life, then off out for dinner and some unscheduled Spanish football viewing (unscheduled for us, that is, the players seemed to be expecting it).

And some musical quizzing of the kids, who were only good at recognising 60s-90s tunes if I play them in the car, or they were on Happy Feet, or it is Michael Jackson.
