Automakers frequently use California highways to road-test their upcoming engines and model cars. These cars are often painted or wrapped in a way that camouflages the sheet metal design so that magazines and competitors cannot distinguish the true lines of the design.
This one was driving in front of me. I believe it is a future BMW M5.
