reed bunting

the February heatwave continues!! all set to come to a crashing halt tomorrow so I thought I'd make the most of it today and had a nice little walk along the estuary at Benfleet creek. Lots of lovely wildlife activity and spotted my first ever reed bunting - at least I think that's what it is! Also saw an egret, heron, tortoiseshell butterfly and  a few ducks including a teal . 

My legs are already on strike now so god knows what they're going to be like tomorrow! Ouch!
