Home front back blip

It was nice to return home after a long trip to town. The power is still off for our neighbors. We are lucky to be above the split in the line. The roads are in horrible shape. Some closed indefinitely. This means taking a much longer way around. Even then there slips, one lane muddy sections, and huge pot holes marked with orange cones just visible to deal with. All the while meeting huge trucks and tractor trailers working on the pipeline. The thing that upset me most was the rocks above the love rock in the run have falling and the buried it. It felt like a bad omen.
Returning to this beautiful sight made for a happy ending to the day. Hope yours ended pleasantly as well.
