Living on the edge

These Welsh Mountain sheep are sure-footed enough to graze these precipitous cliffs near Porthgain on Pembrokeshire’s North Coast.

They are brought here each winter from a hill farm near Llanafanfawr in Powys, mid-Wales, where the winters are harsh and the land often covered in deep snow. In the summer it is one of our favourite places to camp.
