For one night only

Like the loyal little character that she is, Milly has popped home for a friend's birthday. She's heading back south tomorrow to go and visit her brother, who's "doing" a ski season in Austria, with her mum.

We'd agreed that we'd go for a curry, this evening, and then Dan and Abi convinced their mum that they should be allowed to come along, and then the Minx and miniMinx came along, too, so it ended up being a lovely party of six.

Here's Milly later on, reading Bella Mackie's 'Jog On', which she's going to lend me when she's finished. (When we were chatting about running this evening, I noticed she'd started talking like a runner in the sense that even when she's not particularly enjoying it, she feels compelled to get out, and feels better knowing she's been for a run.)
