Loch Morlich

A mixed day as we tried to squeeze everything in to our last day here. Anna, Hilton and I took Anya to see the ‘forest fairies’ at Boat of Garten whilst Max had a nap at the house. She loved it and decided to make her own fairy homes for the rest of the morning :-)
Anya had wanted to find snow all week so we drove up to Cairngorm ski area. It was bizarre to see it with so little snow and so bleak with only the odd few walkers to be seen. Anya was happy with the tiny patch of snow we found.
Then on to Loch Morlich for a walk on the beach, where it was so windy some of us ended up huddled up together in a line. The photo in extras was inspired by seeing Mum, Hilton, Anna and Andrew lined up so I decided to get a group picture. The strangest thing was I asked what I thought to be a stranger walking past to take the photo only to find she was somebody who lives on our road in our village back home!
After nearly blowing away we decided to retreat back to the house for cake and tea by the fire.
