This is the River Forth at Aberfoyle, looks much quieter and rural than the big river at Leith, doesn't it!
The Head Gardiner was keen to stretch his legs today, and we drove to Aberfoyle where we had a light lunch at Liz McGregors, and then he walked to Loch Splean and around it,, a nice circular walk. I meanwhile had a wee walk around Aberfoyle, and into the Woollen Mill to see the sale there (although I didn't make any purchases).
It was a very pleasant day, and temperature rose to 16C, amazing for February, but I hear that all will be changed next week when it will be stormy and wet. Enjoy it while you can!
